A creamy, tangy dip with bold buffalo flavor, sharp cheddar, and crumbled blue cheese. Perfect for serving with crisp vegetables, crackers, or tortilla chips.

Yield
8

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup buffalo hot sauce
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ¼ cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, finely chopped

Method

  1. Place the softened cream cheese and sour cream or Greek yogurt in a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Beat with a hand mixer or whisk until smooth, creamy, and free of lumps.
  3. Add the buffalo hot sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika. Mix until evenly combined.
  4. Fold in the shredded cheddar and crumbled blue cheese, distributing both throughout the dip.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl and smooth the surface with a spoon.
  6. Sprinkle the chopped green onions over the top.
  7. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Keep chilled when not serving.

Kitchen notes

Let the cream cheese soften before mixing to prevent lumps. For a thicker dip that clings beautifully to vegetable sticks, refrigerate it for 30 minutes before serving.
